## Ten Reasons Why You Should Never Play These Six Lotto Numbers

Did you know that in the pick-6 lottery game, the 123456 lottery combination is guaranteed to lose?

Mathematicians unfamiliar with the lottery game like to claim that each set of six lottery numbers has the same chance of winning as any other. But it just isn’t like that.

After carefully analyzing the draw results of more than 200 different lottery games worldwide, with histories dating back to 1955, I have verified the following incredibly simple rule based on the logical calculation of odds:

What is MOST POSSIBLE happens MOST OFTEN.

What is LEAST POSSIBLE happens LEAST OFTEN.

So the basis of my lottery strategies is to play the odds, play what is most likely to happen. If you play a pattern that occurs only five percent of the time, you can expect that pattern to miss 95 percent of the time. If something rarely or never happens in lottery draws, or if something has never happened before in the history of a lottery game, common sense should not tell even a math teacher that it is not ‘expect this to happen the first time just to bet on it? Why put obstacles in the way of victory?

Here are 10 reasons why you should never spend a dollar on the toxic combination of six lottery numbers 123456. Read on and see why these six eternally doomed and miserable lottery numbers, 123456, should never be dialed as a set on your bet slip.

1) CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS. My common sense formula tells you to never play six consecutive lottery numbers on a game panel. Six consecutive numbers have never been drawn in any state or international lottery game. Even five numbers in a row is a very rare occurrence that, in most pick-6 lottery games, has never happened once.

2) GROUP OF ONE NUMBER. You also shouldn’t play all six numbers in a group of numbers, such as all single-digit numbers, or all teenagers, or all twenties, etc. It is highly unlikely that all six winning numbers will be drawn from a group of numbers, as it has never happened before in any group. lottery game, in America or elsewhere.

3) PATTERN BET. Avoid pattern betting. Patterns of numbers marked in a row to make a straight line, either across the betting stub or vertically or diagonally, are played by the thousands in each draw. If I won these numbers, the payouts would be very low.

4) NUMBERS OF NEIGHBORS. Neighbor numbers are numbers on either side of a lottery number. For example, the neighboring numbers of 28 are 27 and 29. Less than seven percent of pick-6 lottery draws have even four neighboring numbers.

5) ALL DOWN, NOT HALF DOWN. Winning numbers are usually spread across the number field. If we take a number field and cut it in half, we have either the low half or the high half. In a game of 49 numbers, numbers 1-24 are in the lower half and numbers 25-49 are in the upper half. Rarely are all high or low numbers drawn, and they occur only two percent of the time.

6) CALENDAR NUMBERS. The natural tendency of novice lottery players is to bet the lower numbers, especially the calendar numbers from 1 to 31, because of the strong play given to birth dates, birthday dates and children’s ages. This means that the most played numbers are from 1 to 31. Most pick-6 lottery games have more than 40 or 50 numbers. If the calendar numbers win, the first prize jackpot is greatly reduced if it is split among possibly dozens of other winners. (Note the consistently low prize payouts when four or more numbers are at the low end of the range. Prize payouts are always higher when the highest numbers come in because fewer winners share the prize pool. Also note that in draws where there is no jackpot winner, the winning numbers are usually higher than normal.)

7) TAIL END OF BELL CURVE. Lottery numbers are drawn randomly. If you want to play the lottery to win, it is important that you select your lottery numbers and place them in your bets in patterns that are more similar to how the numbers are drawn. When you add up the six winning numbers from your state’s lottery game, you get a sum. Add up the six winning numbers from multiple drawings and you’ll find that most winning combinations tend to fall within the same range of sums.

A typical 6/49 lottery draw could add up to 150: 3 + 17 + 23 + 24 + 36 + 47 = 150

In a 6/49 lottery game, the sums range from 21 to 279.

In a field of 49 numbers, there is only one combination of six numbers that adds up to 21:

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 21

And, in the 6/49 lottery game, just one combination of six numbers adds up to 279:

44 + 45 + 46 + 47 + 48 + 49 = 279

These two combinations have the smallest and largest possible sums. And they only occur once, at the tail ends of a bell curve, making it virtually impossible for any of these groups of numbers to be drawn as a winning combination.

In the 49-number pick-6 lottery game, the most common sum is 150, which is the midpoint sum.

The sums of lottery combinations can be compared to the sums of combinations of a pair of dice. At each end of a bell curve, there is only one way to make a 12 (wagons, 6 and 6), and there is only one way to make a 2 (snake eyes, 1 and 1). But there are six ways to make a 7: the top center point of a bell curve for a pair of dice. These combinations are 6 and 1, 1 and 6, 5 and 2, 2 and 5, 4 and 3, 3 and 4. So of course it’s much more easy to roll a 7 on the die than any other number because there are more of them. ways to get the sum of 7.

8) IT IS NOT A BALANCED GAME. A balanced game is a set of six numbers that fall within the most likely range of sums.

9) IT IS SHORT OF THE MOST PROBABLE 70 PERCENT OF SUMS. In a 6/49 lottery game, 27.4 percent of the sums are within the sum range of 115 to 185, but they account for 71.32 percent of the jackpot winning combinations! This means that if you play a six-number combination with a sum that falls above or below the range of 115 to 185, you can expect that the numbers with the sum you selected will not be displayed and will not give you a chance to win 71 percent of the time.

If you want to give your odds a boost, i.e. play with the odds more in your favor, use my “70 Percent Rule” and try to keep your lottery bet totals within the range of likely for the lottery game you play. The range of sums varies depending on the number field of the lottery game. For example, my 70 percent most likely sum range for the popular game Fantasy 5 5/39 is 75-125.

10) 20,000 TICKETS SOLD EACH DRAWING. If reasons 1-9 haven’t convinced you to avoid the guaranteed loss combo, which is 01-02-03-04-05-06, then reason 10 should. A ten million dollar cash jackpot would net only \$500 each of the 20,000 first prize winners.
