Viking Hidden History Stonehenge – Part 9
Stonehenge
During the Megalithic Culture gigantic stone circles appeared. They are found on the islands and coastal lands of northwestern Europe. They are also found in the Canary Islands and North Africa.
The stones were raised in the form of concentric circles and spirals.
In Germany they are called ‘Trojaburgen’ or ‘Walburger’. In England they were known as “Troy, Towns”. In Sweden they were known as “Trojeberg” or “Trelleborg”.
Many believe they are ancient sun temples. In all the places where these ancient sites are found, sacred dances have been preserved, which represent the orbit of the Earth around the Sun. This dance is told in the stories and customs of the Swedes, Danes, North Germans and English.
Perhaps the most famous of these stone sites is Stonehenge in southern England. It was built in three phases. The first phase was just a circular bank and ditch. The second phase was the erection of two concentric rings of “blue stones”.
In the third phase, Stonehenge was completely rebuilt.
There is a large amount of archaeological evidence that in 1500 BC, settlers from Jutland (Vikings) inhabited a large part of England. Viking battle axes, as well as lancet-shaped flint daggers, pottery and amber appear in many graves. They all came from Jutland. Viking bronze swords were also very popular in England at this time.
The reconstruction of StoneHenge was done by settlers from Jutland around 1500 BC. The blue stones moved away and a hole marked the center of the site. A circle of 29.5 meters was measured and thirty stones were raised in a vertical position. Holes were dug so that the tops were even. Lintels were placed on top of the stones. This formed a closed ring. The bulestones were re-erected where they remain today.
Outside the outer circle is the “Heel Stone”. The Sun rises above the “Heel Stone” on the longest day of the year, the summer solstice.
Let historians assume that Stonehenge is the temple of the Hyperboreans. These were people who lived far to the north, beyond the point where the north wind blows (Boreas). These were our Viking ancestors or nosemen.
In Hyperbonia there were ‘Troy Towns’, stones placed in concentric circles.
In the Prose Edda, the largest “Trojan city” of the northern gods/goddesses is called “Asgard”. The Temple of the Hyperborians and Asgard were built as “Cities of Troy”.
In the land of the Hyperboreans is the Cimbrian peninsula called Jutland.
Since StoneHenge in England was probably rebuilt by the Hyperboreans (settlers from Jutland) in 1500 BC, they would naturally have modeled it after the temple in their homeland.
In Norse culture there are many designs carved into ritual stones or bronze that are identical to stone circles.
What Plato describes as the most sacred sanctuary of the Atlanteans, is at Walberg, surrounded by regularly drawn circles. Plato said that Walbergern or “Cities of Troy” were ancient “Temples of the Sun”.
Our ancestors, the Vikings, the Hyperboreans, the peoples of the North Sea, the peoples of northern Europe, the Norse-Germanic races illuminate wisdom and culture throughout the world. We have evidence going back to 1500 BC that this is true. Why have historians reduced northern men to drunken, debauched drunkards? Why hasn’t the real story been shouted from the rooftops?
