Prepare Each Section Well to Ace the GMAT Test
GMAT refers to the Graduate Management Admission Test, which is an online test for students who aspire to become an MBA. On the basis of their GMAT score, they are admitted to top universities.
The test is divided into four sections: Verbal, Evaluation of analytical writing, Integrated reasoning and Quantitative. Test aspirants can register online or by calling one of the test centers.
Explore the Verbal section of the GMAT by developing a healthier and friendlier attitude towards English grammar, a subject you may have dreaded in your school days. You have 75 minutes to complete this section, which can make or break your chances of admission to a top B-school. Certain strategies have to be applied to tackle the mock questions, hence some time is spent on understanding the question pattern.
Audio-visual lessons can help you understand information faster. This technique improves your sentence correction, GMAT critical reasoning, and reading comprehension skills. If the test can be taken online, why not prepare it the same way? The interactive user interface allows you to prepare for the exam in a new and improved way. Interactive audio visual content and full-length IR Mock Tests help aspirants to understand the concepts better.
The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) consists of two 30-minute essays. The first essay may ask you to analyze an argument while the second asks you to analyze a problem. There is no specific order, so anyone can be asked first. Essay scores are not included in the final score which is calculated between 200 and 800. The AWA portion of the test is scored separately and sent to the colleges you have selected.
The Integrated Reasoning section consists of 12 questions in total. It consists of four types of questions, which involve the analysis and synthesis of data in different formats and from multiple sources. You have 30 minutes to complete this section.
The Quantitative section measures the ability to reason quantitatively, interpret graphical data, and solve quantitative problems. The quantitative section will consist of 37 multiple choice questions to be answered in 75 minutes. Throughout this section there will be a mix of problem solving and data sufficiency questions. The scoring scale is 0 to 60. You have a thorough understanding of commonly known algebra, elementary, arithmetic, and geometry concepts.
Be fully prepared on exam day, so make sure you understand the format, practice sample questions, and review one section at a time.
