## Test and Registration Dates for SATs 2010-2011

Taking the SATs, or what is more formally known as the SAT Reasoning Test, is our stepping stone to college. Higher SAT scores can definitely add to our college or university grades; that increase our chances of getting into the college or university of our choice.

The SATs are basically the recognized college entrance tests in the United States and are designed by the College Board. These tests determine whether a particular student is ready to go to college or attend higher education after high school.

REGISTRATION AND TEST DATES

In order to be admitted to take the test, we must first register for the specific SAT test date of our choice. Note that we can take the test as many times as we want until we pass it with flying colors.

The only downside here is that we have to pay the test fee with every SAT we take.

For those graduating from high school in 2010-2011, the SAT test and registration dates to be aware of are as follows:

• June 5, with registration dates on April 29 and late application accepted only until May 13

• October 9, with dates for registration and late registration in September still to be determined

• November 6, with dates for registration and late registration in October still to be determined

• December 4, with regular registration in October; and late registration in November, both still to be determined

• January 22, with regular registration and late registration in December still to be determined

• March 12, with regular enrollment and late enrollment in February yet to be determined

• May 7, with regular enrollment in March and late enrollment in April, still to be determined

• June 4, with regular enrollment in April and late enrollment in May, both still to be determined

RATES

By keeping track of all these SAT test dates and registration, we can determine what schedule we want to take, given the allotted time we have until our scheduled test to prepare for these SATs.

The regular SAT fee is $45 for regular registration, while late registration is set at $68. The base fee for the subjects is $20, the language test with listening is also $20, while all other subjects are $9 per test.

We should also note that we may be charged additional fees if we decide to change our SAT test dates, test center, and, as shown above, if we delay registering for tests.
